This course is specifically designed for employees that are in contact with people from diverse cultures. The programme takes individuals through a process that allows them to explore and understand the importance of communication

Course Objectives
The course aims to combine theoretical input with experiential exercises to offer delegates the opportunity to enhance and further their learning.

Learning is facilitated using experiential methods and offering alternatives through creative global perspectives and methods of group processes relevant to public service organisations in contemporary Britain.

The programme will develop a level of confidence and competence to assist employees to communicate in a meaningful and creative way with diverse groups and communities.

Learning Objectives:

  Understand and define communication.
  Understand the role of communication in different situations.
  Understand how to construct environments for healthy communication.
  Develop skills in relationship building.
  Practice applying these skills in situations specific to your environments.
  This is a one-day programme to introduce staff to the concepts and practice of communication.
