Terms and Conditions
Please note : These Terms & Conditions apply to both in house & open courses
In these difficult times we have adapted the way we train and can now offer most of our courses online via webinar. However, there are still circumstances and mandatory qualifications such as First Aid & ILS that require courses to go ahead face to face. In these circumstances, we are taking the necessary precautions to keep our trainers and all course delegates safe. On booking a face to face course with Gateway Training, you will be sent the risk assessment relevant to course and activities taking place. We have also added the below updates to our terms & conditions.
All delegates attending a face to face course will be asked to read and sign this COVID-19 statement at the start of their training.
By attending this course, you are agreeing to the following terms & conditions that are set out for all Gateway Training & Consultancy courses that take place face to face. In line with government guidance, delegates should not attend a face to face training course if they: Have any symptoms of COVID-19; Have tested positive for COVID-19; Are awaiting the results of COVID-19 test; Have been in direct contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days. For more guidance on when to self-isolate, please see government guidance : https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus
All delegates must have a temperature check before they begin the session. All delegates must wear a face covering throughout their session unless they are exempt. If these terms & conditions are not followed, delegates will be excluded from the training and no refund for the course will be issued.
Change of Dates and Cancellations
We appreciate that sometimes cancellations and date changes are necessary.
In some cases, a percentage of the course fee may be applicable for such cancellations or changes at a rate dependent on the time of the cancellation.
We charge fees at the following rates :
• If you cancel more than 14 days prior to course : No charge
• If you cancel 14 – 7 days prior to course : 50% of the course fee
• If you cancel less than one week prior to course : 75% of the course fee
• If you cancel on the day of the course : 100% of the course fee
Gateway Training & Consultancy reserve the right to cancel or amend dates and times of any course at any time without liability. Should this unlikely event occur, Gateway will do everything reasonably possible to notify all course delegates at the earliest opportunity of such changes. All delegates will be offered either a full refund, an alternative course date or a Gateway Training Credit Note.
Non-Attendance / Late Arrival
If delegates do not attend the course and you have not previously contacted us, the full course fee will still apply.
If your delegates arrive late for a course or miss any session, it will be at the trainer’s discretion as to whether they are able to attend or complete the training. For qualification purposes, we have to ensure that all delegates have attended all sessions in order to gain the skills and knowledge of the qualification. In the case that the training is not able to go ahead or some delegates are not able to attend the training after a late arrival or non-attendance, the full course fee will still apply.
Invoicing & Payment
Gateway Training & Consultancy’s standard invoicing terms are 30 days from date of invoice.
New clients : Gateway Training & Consultancy requires full payment in advance of the course start date in order for the course to take place. If payment is not received in advance of the training, we will take this as a cancellation notice and the date will be made available to other clients.
